Do As The Romans Do?

After going to the gym for quite some time now (not religiously tho) there's one thing that really really bothers me.


Naked/semi-naked girls.


That's right, girls wearing very little, some just in bras, some in undies, and some not wearing anything! You see them walking here and there, on the phone, drying their hair, applying makeup, changing out of their work clothes/sweaty workout clothes in the locker room. It seems to me they are so used to being in a state of déshabillé in a roomful of strangers! I just don't know where to look! I mean, it's rude to stare right??


No doubt we are in the twenty-first century and being naked in a communal area may no longer seems shocking to some but from where i come from, it is not something you would see very often. Being in Singapore for the last fifteen years or so hadn't changed the way i feel about certain things either.


Sometimes, it's not really the case of 'do as the romans do'.


But despite people walking around in their birthday suits (or near), what upset me most was almost nobody wanted to use the shower cubicle with a faulty door lock!!


Argghh!! What's wrong with them??
